Contact Lenses

A contact lens, or simply contact, is a thin lens made up of a biocompatible plastic placed directly on the surface of the eye (cornea). Contact lenses are used by over 150 million people worldwide and they can be worn to correct vision, for cosmetic, or therapeutic reasons. Contact lenses compliment eye glasses by providing an alternate form of vision correction. Based on the material, they are of two types-soft and rigid contact lenses. Soft contact lenses, due to their comfort are very popular. They range from monthly, fortnightly to daily disposable lenses. Our Optometrists at Rivoli Eye Zone can help you choose from a wide range of contact lenses.
