Inside our eye, we have a natural lens. This lens helps to bend the light entering the eye and helps us to see. The lens is mostly made up of water and protein and as we age this protein might clump together and cover a small area of the lens and over time this area may grow larger. A Cataract appears as a clouding of the lens and can be compared with looking through a foggy or dusty window.
